This DeWinton wedding was everything I would hope for in terms of setting. This gorgeous little town is so quaint and cute no matter where you look there is something interesting to look at. This is the perfect setting for anyone looking for that country-chic look.

I met C a while back when I photographed her part of another clients bridal party. Fast forward a few years later when C is ready to get married, I was very happy to hear that C and her fiancee wanted to use me to be their wedding photographer! Its always such a honour when clients can’t wait to book you. There is no question its always a matter of timing at that particular moment. A few meetings later I was booked for their amazing DeWinton wedding scheduled for May 30th 2015.

The day started off at Wingate at Wyndham where all the girls were getting ready. C was so calm and relaxed you could hardly guess that this was her wedding day. As she was getting her hair done I was snapping some pics of the girls floating around trying to go unnoticed (as my style incorporates a photo-journalistic approach). The two flower girls were absolutely adorable as they danced around and laughed. I than zipped over to the guys quickly to take some snaps of them getting ready. The guys partied the night before so when I arrived they were all sitting on the coach barely moving thats how hungover they were. However I got them up and moving and got them to start putting their suits on for me. Once they were dressed I even got them to have a morning shot gun. The groom was having a hard time which made for some really hilarious pictures.

I arrived back to the ladies and C’s hair and makeup was done and she looked gorgeous. The last step was to get the dress on and get out the door. When I arrived at the venue, I met back up with the groom and his men. There was a specific picture the groom wanted with his mom so made sure to get that one for him. The venue was decorated really nicely with rustic decorations that the bride must of spent tons of time on. There was a photobooth at the venue as well as a candy buffet. YUM I especially love those:P and everything had this hand done typography look which really added to that country theme.

The ceremony went off without a hitch and after that we had the photos. I stole the bridal party and we went across the street to a clearing that had a beautiful pond, mill, and train tracks. The photos there turned out amazing and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The bridal party was so easy going, which made my job as the wedding photographer super easy.

I wanted to thank C&C for hiring me and putting faith in me to capture their wonderful day. I couldn’t ask for better clients to work with, as our relationship lasted for just over a year. I was there for their engagement photography, boudoir photography and wedding photography. I feel as if they are somehow my family and can’t believe this has all come to an end. We have had such an awesome run you two<3
